Mawlid an-Nabi (Milad un Nabi) is observed on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal to commemorate the blessed birth of the Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad ﷺ—sent as a mercy to all the worlds (Rahmatan lil-’Alameen). Muslims worldwide honor his life, noble character (Seerah), and timeless teachings of compassion, justice, peace, and brotherhood through Quran recitations, sending abundant blessings (Darood & Salam), charitable food distributions, and educational gatherings.

- Send abundant blessings and salutations (Darood & Salam) upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammad, kama sallayta ala Ibraheema wa ala aali Ibraheem, innaka Hameedum Majeed
O Allah, bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You bestowed blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Full of Glory.
